Beat big-day nerves - Getting married, driving test, exams, making a speech. So often an exciting or important day is spoiled by nerves. They can put a cloud over the anticipation and stop you doing your best on the day itself. There’s no need to suffer nerves if you take advantage of hypnotherapy to let you do your best on your big day. Lose weight – Losing weight can be an uphill struggle for many people; every day of a diet can be a hungry misery. Hypnotherapy can help by taking away a large part of the craving for food and treats. You’ll still need to diet, but it will be much easier and more pleasant to achieve your aims with a large part of the craving removed. You’ll probably need a few sessions when you start and some reinforcing sessions as you progress with your diet. Stop smoking – Stopping smoking can be one of the hardest things we do in our lives. We lose the support of tobacco, which has been our friend through difficult times, often for many years, at a time when we are attempting one of the most difficult things we can imagine. Hypnotherapy can take away most of the craving and allow you to succeed. You’ll probably need a few sessions when you start and, if you are a compulsive smoker, some reinforcing sessions as you progress. Drink less – Many of us drink more than we should. We know what the recommended limits are and go a bit over them, then a bit more. We’re going to cut down – soon… With hypnotherapy you can set your own limit and keep to it, with little or no discomfort or craving. Stop panic attacks – Supermarkets, lifts, bridges – you name it, someone has had panic attacks there. If left untreated attacks can start to take over your life, by becoming easier and easier to trigger and more and more distressing. Often, a single session of hypnotherapy is enough to clear the problem, though more deeply-rooted problems may take a few sessions. Fly without fear – Fear of flying can blight your holidays or even make long-distance holidays an impossibility. For some people it can lead to loss of livelihood. Usually, a single session of hypnotherapy can take away the fear and allow you to enjoy what is, for most of us, an exciting part of the trip. Stop nail-biting – Nail-biting can be an embarrassing problem; it’s easy to feel ashamed of your nails – and ashamed of yourself for biting them. A couple of sessions of hypnotherapy are usually enough to overcome the habit; and remove the tension that causes it. Sleep all night – Sleeplessness can be miserable; and it’s made worse by the knowledge of how the resulting tiredness will make you feel tomorrow. And worrying about this, of course, makes the sleeplessness worse. Often, sleeplessness can be cured in a single session. Cure a phobia – Phobias can take over your life, as you spend more and more of your time and energy finding ways to avoid the source of your fear. As with panic attacks, some phobias can be cured in a single session of hypnotherapy, though deep-seated ones can take several sessions to clear. Gain confidence – A lack of confidence can hold you back in so many ways, in both your working and social life. It can stop you speaking in meetings, asking for that date or taking the sensible step you need to make in your life. A single session of hypnotherapy can often make just the difference you need to solve your problem. If your lack of confidence is more general or deep-seated you may need a few sessions to clear the underlying cause or causes. Overcome blushing – Blushing is usually a very embarrassing complaint. It’s mainly caused by embarrassment or nervousness in the first place and, by advertising that emotion to all within sight, it makes the sufferer feel even more embarrassed and so blush even more. The good news is that a couple of sessions of hypnotherapy should have you feeling as cool as a cucumber. Play better sport – Much of success in sport comes down to self-belief, confidence and the ability to concentrate under pressure. Of course natural ability and practice are essential but, whatever the level of our ability, the changes that hypnotherapy can make will help us to perform at our best. Every time. |
